OUR LONG OVERDUE VACATION!

We are so desperate for a holiday (rather I am...hehe) that we planned for one first day of the school holiday. Yup...we went to Penang for a 3D2N vacay...yay!

Before that, I searched and searched for a nice and afforadable hotel coz I want to find somewhere where we can enjoy without constantly having to travel out (the reason is obviously a very active baby by the name of Andrick). As by such glorious coincidence, I managed to book a room at Parkroyal Penang for a very cheap price! It's only about RM300 after tax, cheap right?

We we start our journey bright (actually it's still dark lol) and early after a McD brekkie. After having a lunch of CKT in town, we headed straight for the resort. Luckily, the room's vacant...so we checked in early. The kids can't wait to check out the beach once checked in. And they loved the resort! So we threw on our beach clothes and headed straight down...
Andrick being a bit scared of the sand and sea
Venice too a bit apprehensive of the waves
Bryan taking a pic with Venice
Wei taking a dip in the sea
Wei said that the sea's quite deep though...so no going into it. The kids though are just content playing by the beach.
A rare moment of peace
I simply love this picture of them playing sand...or rather playing Andrick lol.

Andrick seemed content to just sit in the sand and let the kokos build a moat around him
Venice calling out to the sea....
And Venice Chow made a new friend....it's called Waferrrrrr.......here she is calling out to 'wafer' (a nickname for wave lol).
Water rushing in!
This is the reason for their moat.....to see the bubbly seawater filling it up. Nice!
Ahhhhhhh.......
And while the boys (and girls) play, I can finally put up my feet.....literally.

Some pool pics...
A puffer fish in the pool...
Andrick relaxing on the bed after a tiring day...
Venice's customized brekkie!
Strolling in the garden after a sumptious breakfast...
Venice and her 'sand castle'.......
A pic with the little bum bum.....
Some of the stuff we consumed there
Penang...we'll be back!
Overall, it's a pleasant and relaxing trip...we seriously contemplated extending our stay but held back last minute.
